Late Breaking Submissions
The Organizing Committee invites proposals for Late-Breaking Sessions at the 2026 AAS-in-Asia Conference taking place on September 25-27, 2026 at the Lahore University of Management Sciences, Lahore, Pakistan.
Late-Breaking Sessions provide an opportunity to engage in time-sensitive conversations on recent developments, emerging trends, and current events that affect scholarship, teaching, and public engagement.
Submission Process
This is a two-step process where panelists whose proposals have been provisionally accepted will be asked to submit additional information for final acceptance.
Proposal Deadline
The deadline to submit Late-Breaking Session proposals for AAS-in-Asia Lahore 2026 is: April 30th, 2026
Important Guidelines
- We will consider roundtables and organized panel sessions only (no individual papers).
- Only panelists whose sessions have been preliminary accepted will be contacted.
- All sessions will run for 90 minutes.
- Roundtables should consist of no more than five panelists including one chair.
- Panels must have: 1 chair; a minimum of 3 to a maximum of 5 papers; and preferably at least 1 discussant, with a maximum of 2.
- Spaces for Late-Breaking Session are very limited.
- Participants who already have a panel or a roundable accepted for AAS-in-Asia 2026 can also apply for late breaking session.
